It was fine halfway through yesterday, then they released that "update" and now it's basically unusable on Chrome on Android.

I stopped reading the question at "Is Kinja buggy..."
But I can use it on my phone...Moto X using Chrome. About as reliable as the desktop version.

I'm on my phone right now (Nexus 5, still waiting for lollipop), seems okay to me.

Everything is working as well as it ever does. Chrome on Samsung Note.

Kinja is buggy for everyone else running on anything.

Chrome did an update on my MotoMini last night, and afterwards Chrome because unusable. It stops and starts as you try to scroll through a page. I switched over to Firefox, and its working fine there. I think this one is a Chrome issue rather than a Kinja issue.

requires root, but having android without it being rooted is like keeping the car in the garage and only looking at it instead of driving.

You know you can download the update files from Androids website right now right?

I do, but you also have to wipe your phone to do it, at least what I read. Since I don't want to do that, I'll let the update come to me

Gotcha. Yeah, when I had Android (recently switched to a iPhone 6 Plus) I loved flashing ROMS but it eventually got old and I didn't have the time to tweak as much (Job/Wife/Kid on the way/ect) so I went with something that "Just Works", lol.

It started after the update for me as well. Exact same symtoms, though they only occur on Kinja sites.

I have the Moto X developer edition. Did you update Chrome recently?

Updating now, actually...I'll give it a whip and see what happens.

Yep, it barely runs for me on Chrome on Android. The problem started before I got the recent Chrome update.
I guess I'll try it on Firefox and see how that goes.

The iPhone might get a bad rap, but it really is a rock solid phone. I had a 4s and couldn't crash it, no matter how hard I tried to.
Sure, there might be better phones out there on the market, but the iPhone is pretty much idiot proof.

Running on it now and it works fine.

Updated and posting from my phone. Nothing out of the ordinary here so far...what issues have you experienced?

I see, I didn't even think to try other sites. since I already had Firefox on my phone, I just switched over to it.

It's been buggy for me on every platform.
